Description/Job Summary

The Senior Salesforce Developer works on an agile software development team to design, build, test and maintain applications on Salesforce Service, Sales, Community and Marketing Cloud across all Fruit of the Loom, Inc. business units. Stay up to date on changes to the Salesforce.com platform and capabilities. Work with business representatives to understand their processes and design solutions in Salesforce to meet their requirements. Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions and make recommendations to improve applications. Perform training and demonstrations to stakeholders. Serve as a mentor to less experienced team members.

Responsibilities/Duties

Build, test, and maintain custom applications on Salesforce.com.


Architect and design Salesforce solutions.


Participate in agile software development process by conducting code reviews, attending planning sessions and providing input during retrospectives.


Work with key stakeholders to gather requirements, define user stories, and conduct user acceptance testing. Perform training and demonstrations.


Learn new technologies, frameworks, tools, design patterns and best practices.


Mentor less experienced team members


Participate in 24x7 on-call support rotation.


Required Experience

4+ years of experience in designing and developing applications on Salesforce.com and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Required Qualifications

  • BS or BA in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience required

  • Strong knowledge of and experience with:

  • Full-stack Salesforce.com development

  • Lightning UI

  • Configuring, customizing, and programming in Apex, VisualForce, Apex classes and triggers, and Apex Web services.

  • Web service standards such as SOAP and REST

  • JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, AngularJS, or React

  • Integrating Salesforce.com with different business systems

  • Cloud-based application platforms

  • Software engineering best practices

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to communicate solution designs to technical and non-technical people
