Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs new and existing software systems and/or applications for internal use under limited supervision. Serves as technical resource on development projects. Participates in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design. Writes technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Supports, maintains, and documents software functionality. Identifies and evaluates new technologies for implementation. Analyzes code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed. Participates in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements. Consults with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs. Provides complex database query skills such as SSIS, SRS, Stored Procedures or other complex queries to provide technical and business teams with requested data. Mentors other team members.

Responsibilities And Expectations

Develop, integrate, test, and maintain existing and new applications on the Salesforce Platform.
Participate in strategic, program level technical design and status discussions with system integrator leads.
Lead/review of Salesforce design approaches/impacts with Architecture & Testing.
Communicate the overall development delivery by working with the program leadership and developers across multiple time-zones.
Perform and standardize code reviews.
Communicate configuration decisions of Salesforce (including configuration vs custom metrics).
Understand the technical insights / environment and architectural decisions that impact stability of the platform and integrated systems.
Maintain and demonstrate 100% compliance with all written security policies, procedures, and change management controls.
Define coding standards, frameworks, and re-usable patterns for leverage by development teams.
Ensure the adherence to leading practices for configuration and custom development of Salesforce.
Manage the development lifecycle to ensure the delivery of highly secure solutions that are optimized for performance and built to scale.
Translate Business/Functional Requirements to Technical Solutions.
Able to articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations for a technical architecture.
Perform tasks related to the day-to-day operations of implementations of Salesforce in an enterprise environment including: Managing user access across multiple orgs and third party systems,
Coordinate creation and maintenance of sharing model, custom objects, fields, bulk data migration, workflows, validation rules, page layouts
Troubleshooting and solutioning of managed packages, custom code and integrations.

Key Desired Skills, Experience And Knowledge

4+ years end-to-end Salesforce Platform Development and Implementation of Salesforce based applications
2+ year experience with middleware integrations
Experience with Informatica is a plus
Strong Development Experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Component, Lightning Web Components and front end web technologies.
Strong Experience in translating business/functional requirements and creating proof of concepts that require Imperative and Declarative Solutions.
Strong Knowledge of Web Services and Salesforce APIs such as REST, SOAP, Bulk and Streaming.
Experience with Enterprise SDLC and Version Control with multiple platforms
Experience with Authentication methods including SAML, OAuth, SSO
Knowledge of project management tools such as DevOps, ANT, GIT
Experience in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Heroku
Good communication and team skills
Ability to communicate potential system implications related to data migrations, integrations, development changes and scalable solutions.
Problem solving / analytical thinking and creative thinking.

Strong Experience with the following languages: SOQL, JavaScript

Qualifications For The Senior Salesforce Developer Role

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of experience required.
