** Position is W-2 contract (Competitive Hourly Rate, about 6-months assignment).
** Full time, on-site position for a Los Angeles County Department in Cerritos, CA.

TASKS

Tasks to be performed by the Consultant will include all of the following:

  • Meet with the PM to develop a project plan, identify gaps in current service delivery processes and establish goals for customer outreach.
  • Meet with the PM to review the existing Salesforce skill level.
  • Identify additional technical representatives that will be suitable for inclusion in the required support team.
  • With input from the PM, identify six (6) critical system components as candidates for teaching the architecture, standards, and methodologies used in the development of these components. Consultant shall analyze and document each component for use in training the development team.
  • Develop exercises and training recommendations to ensure the development team learns each of the six (6) identified critical components.
  • Meet with the development team to establish strategies and goals related to completing existing service requests and incident management requests.
  • Conduct daily meetings with the development team to ensure that recommended strategies and goals are used when completing assignments, tasks and service delivery processes.
  • Establish metrics to track development team progress during and after this engagement. Metrics will focus on team productivity, system knowledge, and technical proficiency in the application environment. Metric Reports shall be provided on a monthly basis.
  • Develop documentation to assist users.
  • Design Training Documents. Develop a cooperative environment that fosters knowledge sharing.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to others in areas of expertise
  • Participate in daily Agile standup meeting to discuss what work was done yesterday, what they’re working on today and any questions that come up.
  • Participate in bi-weekly Sprints for product planning, development, review and release.
  • Conduct regular Agile reviews and retrospectives to make sure work is being delivered at a consistent quality.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

1. Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II or Certified SFDC Application Architect or Certified Technical Architect. Documentation must be provided upon request.

2. Five (5) years of experience within the last seven (7) years with working knowledge of Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL).

3. Five (5) years of experience within the last seven (7) years working on project design and development using Salesforce.
4. Four (4) years of experience within the last six (6) years building applications on Salesforce community cloud.
5. Four (4) years of experience within the last six (6) years developing applications using Lightning Component Framework.
6. Four (4) years of experience within the last six (6) years using Salesforce Data Loader for Integration/Data.
7. Four (4) years of experience within the last six (6) years working on projects utilizing agile project management methodologies. Please be prepared to provide a work sample to verify this qualification.
8. Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years creating integration points between Salesforce and other business systems.
9. Five (5) years of experience within the last seven (7) years developing and customizing Salesforce applications using Apex, JavaScript, NodeJS, Visualforce, and Force.com APIs.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $75.00 - $110.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends
