Job overview:
The Sales Enablement team within LPL’s Business Development team is responsible for delivering high impact sales processes, content, technology, tools, and training to sales representatives to help them increase their efficiency and effectiveness. An integral part of our mission is to provide the sales team with technology solutions to help them save time and increase their sales velocity. This role will help us to drive our mission forward by providing expert Salesforce management.
What will you do?
This role will be responsible for managing and enhancing Salesforce including, system administration; user experience design; dashboard, reporting, and analysis deployment; campaign management, and technology integration. You’ll work with a diverse group of sales representatives, leaders and cross-functional partners to deliver creative insights and solutions. The ideal candidate will have a complete understanding of Salesforce functionality, best practices and administration, coupled with strong communication skills. You’ll enjoy this role if you like working in fast-paced environments where you autonomously manage projects to completion and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Specifically, you will:
- Serve as primary manager for the Business Development Salesforce.com environment with 150+ users.
- Handle all basic administrative functions including user profiles and roles, permission sets, sales territory alignment, data loads, data management, reporting and dashboards, and other routine tasks.
- Customize workflows, page layouts, Lightning record pages, formula fields, and applications.
- Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades.
- Manage Salesforce.com data feeds, 3rd party applications, and other integrations.
- Set-up, manage, and track campaigns.
- Work with team-members to establish consistent processes and guidelines.
- Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across roles.
- Effectively act as the liaison and primary point of contact with 3rd party vendors, including orders and invoicing.
- Participate in tests and pilots to understand new functionality/technology use cases and deployments.

Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-5 years experience in Salesforce administration and/or management
- Certified Salesforce Administrator preferred. Trailhead badges and Superbadges are bonus
- Strong understanding of Salesforce, including Classic and Lightning, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
- A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Creative and analytical thinking with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards.
- Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, align business strategy with technical requirements, translate technical language into business language, interpret and understand user requests, and articulate strategies to business managers.
- Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
