Summary:
The role holder will work closely with IPfolio’s Head of Product Development and the IPfolio Development Team on delivering weekly releases of our rapidly growing Salesforce based IP Management System. You’ll play a key role in implementing integration between our application and centralized services, and in assuring the stability, quality, and scalability of the application. This involves working closely with product management, clients, other architects and software development teams (both internal and external) as well as QA. Tasks include architecture, code reviews, writing code, tests and documentation, and working on implementing our delivery strategy.
Job Objective:
- Play a key role in delivering a secure, quality and maintainable product by suggesting and supervising the implementation of good, scalable architecture
Responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise the implementation of new features according to the quarterly product planning of IPfolio
- Lead internal and external technical conversations on integrations with other systems
- Support developers in solving hard problems and promote following best practices and good design patterns
- Locate and direct resolutions for business critical issues
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Exceptional skills in developing enterprise software following best practices in regards to architectural patterns and clean code
- High expertise in Salesforce Apex development
- High expertise in working around Salesforce limits by using asynchronous/batch processing
- Excellent knowledge of git based source driven development
- Experience with Salesforce DX
- Understanding of Salesforce SDLC best practices, the packaging and the deployment process
- ·A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ensure compliance with CPA Global’s Code of Business Ethics and Corporate Conduct
Work Environment:
- Remote
Supervisory Responsibility:
- No direct reports
- Supervising function for Salesforce Developers on a per project basis
Required Education and Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science
- Multi years of experience in enterprise Software Development
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Relevant Salesforce Certification (Platform Developer I+II) and/or relevant Trailhead Track Record
