GENERAL SUMMARY (What is done and why)

The Senior Solutions Analyst-Salesforce directly contributes to the strategy of business processes as part of the Enterprise Solutions Team. The focus is on the effective use of technology in the execution of technology strategy and continual process improvement supporting the Enterprise. The Senior Solutions Analyst-Salesforce applies proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills while functioning in a liaison capacity to translate business requirements into system deployments and/or business process changes. The Senior Salesforce Administrator is responsible for business analysis, application development and support for cloud-based solutions. This role will work as a subject matter expert collaborating across the organization in order to leverage features and functions of our CRM platform to implement and support solutions for frontline staff and stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, IN PRIORITY ORDER (Majority of duties, but not meant to be all inclusive or prevent other duties from being assigned as necessary)
1. Develop a detailed understanding of CRM, Core and integrated application architecture for creating/ identifying strategies/ opportunities to optimize, recommend, and implement best practice solutions to promote continuous improvement, new integrations, and data integrity. Time: 15%
2. Administer Salesforce instance including roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows and groups in order to perform periodic system maintenance including: application configuration, integration, maintenance of products/services and application security for Financial Services Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud applications. Time: 15%
3. Proactively collaborate with Continuous Improvement and stakeholders to analyze information needs and functional requirements for Salesforce and deliver the following: functional/business requirements and specification documents, use cases, workflows, and screen and interface designs. Time: 15%
4. Manage operational requests, data flow diagrams, reporting and troubleshoot issues and ensure each is addressed in accordance with the documented service level agreements. Time: 15%
5. Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements– verbally or through written documentation – to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood. Time: 10%
6. Design and develop solutions that maximize effectiveness and improve 360 view of members while maintaining existing functionality for supported Enterprise Solutions. Time: 10%
7. Provide leadership to team members and peers through collaboration. Articulate ideas and viewpoints to senior management and peers, managing resources, holding self and team accountable for results. Time 10%
8. Maintain and monitor tasks associated including but not limited to maintenance of the service catalog, implement approved change requests, among other tasks. Time:5%
9. Use knowledge and expertise of Enterprise Solutions to assist with implementation, testing, and training development as needed. Time: 5%

EDUCATION (Minimum education required to perform the duties of this position)
  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Finance or related discipline or four years related work experience
EXPERIENCE (Minimum experience required to perform the duties of this position)

In addition to the education requirement:
  • Five or more years of experience as a certified Advanced Salesforce Administrator managing an Enterprise-level instance with >200 users in Sales Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, and/or Service Cloud
  • Experience in systems/ application process, integration and workflow analysis, application/system analysis, and experience working on project teams.
  • Advanced Salesforce Administrator Certification is required

  • Understand and leverage automation and Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
  • Generates new ideas/approaches to solving problems and/or alternative solutions
  • Can effectively learn diverse business systems; how they function and can apply that knowledge into benefits to better serve the organization.
  • Able to seek out the root cause to a problem and ensure the resolution solves the underlying issue.

  • Proficient in the creation of data flow or systems diagrams and the tools used to develop them
  • In-depth knowledge and/or practical experience with Salesforce and/or nCino
  • Technical knowledge of API’s, Web Services, and XML
  • Experience in Salesforce Classic and Lightning - experience in Sales, or Service Cloud
  • Experience in Financial Services preferred
  • Demonstrated skills using process builder, sharing rules, workflow, formulas, and report and dashboard building

PHYSICAL DEMANDS (Physical effort generally associated with this position)

Work involves standing and walking for brief periods of time, but most work is done from a seated position. There is potential for eyestrain from reading detailed reports and computer screen. Deadlines, workloads and pressure to achieve goals may cause increased stress levels.

WORKING CONDITIONS (Typical working conditions associated with this type of work and environmental hazards, if any, that may be encountered in performing the duties of this position)

Internal - Work is normally performed in climate controlled office environment, where exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is very limited. Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of normal office equipment (computers, telephones, etc). No known environmental hazards are encountered in normal performance of duties. Length of day is normally between 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; long hours may be required to accommodate deadlines or special meetings.

External - Some travel may be required; however, information on environmental conditions is not available.
