IAA, Inc. is searching for a Marketing Cloud Sr. Specialist to join the team at our corporate office in Westchester, IL.

The Marketing Cloud Sr. Specialist will build campaigns that drive brand campaigns and boost traffic. This person will be working with a cross functional team across marketing and the entire organization to leverage technology to support marketing campaigns across Email, Social, mobile and the corporate websites. IAA will also look for this person to maintain email best practices and to keep IAA compliant to all brand guidelines, marketing communications, & email policies.


The Marketing Cloud Sr. Specialist will have B2B, CRM and marketing automation experience - specifically proven experience deploying and using Salesforce/Marketing Cloud. This person should have an enthusiasm for digital marketing, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.


In this role, the candidate will also implement integrated marketing campaigns that will be able to create impactful engagement at each stage, from lead generation to conversion.

Collaborative, with strong communication skills and project management, are essential to ensure technology requirements, business rules, workflows and integration points are documented, planned and executed.


Responsibilities include (but are not limited to the following):

  • Development and implementation of all customer-facing emails coding HTML and using email technology tools.
  • Acts as the in-house expert and advocate for Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Create and implement direct email marketing campaigns through journey builder.
  • Minimum two years of experience managing a Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment with a deep understanding of various Salesforce Marketing Cloud components and the interconnectedness of those products.
  • Be the SFMC expert and provide a strategy to multiple departments by participating in projects, campaigns, and initiatives to maximize SFMC’s value.
  • Ensuring design and layouts of emails are optimized, user and mobile-friendly.
  • Lead system integration with roadmap initiatives with new brands and programs..
  • Create functional CloudPages with SmartForms to capture data points.
  • Maintain data-hygiene by updating data extensions through automations or CSV uploads.
  • Work with manager to drive strategy, goals, implementation roadmaps and/or identity tactics to address specific needs.
  • Build new campaigns, including data configuration, audience creation, and utilization of capabilities in the platform.
  • Responsible for content accuracy, ensuring all links, images, copy, personalization, dynamic content, and segments are correct.
  • Manages internal approval process and corrects errors with assistance from internal teams.
  • Performs final quality assurance check for compatibility across web browsers and email clients.
  • Creates audience segments using dynamic filters and/or suppression lists.
  • Maintain multiple campaign deadlines through marketing campaign calendar.
  • Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices.
  • Delivering timely performance metrics on various marketing cloud campaigns to stakeholders.

  • Aiding additional digital marketing efforts


Preferred Experience:

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business or similar field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience (marketing automation).
  • Strong analytical mindset and an ability to analyze campaigns.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Sales & Service Clouds.
  • Experience with scoring models, workflows, templates, list import and A/B testing.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, email deliverability and CAN-SPAM/CASL compliance requirements.
