Purpose Of The Role

mPulse is looking for an energetic Senior Tableau Developer with a desire to work with a “Best in Class” team in a fun, fast paced, collaborative environment. The purpose of this role is to build and maintain out our data visualizations. We need a smart, roll-up your sleeves, “anything to get the job done” individual who is willing to jump in and make a positive impact on our product offering.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Update & maintain existing Worksheets.
• Build new custom dashboards
• Maintain/build queries, LODs and dashboard logic
• Maintain/build custom data extracts for nightly refreshes of data extracted from Redshift DB
• Performance tuning of dashboards
  
  

Skills, Abilities, And Experience

• Strong SQL
• Tableau desktop and server (version 2020.3)
• Deep understanding of how to configure and process the VizQL Server
• Experience with Backgrounder
• Tableau security
• Tableau API
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any other related technical degree.
• US Citizen
• 5 years of experience in a client facing Tableau environment
• Building Tableau dashboards with datasets of about 50M
• In-depth knowledge of data visualization best practices
