Seeking a motivated SFCC (Salesforce Commerce Cloudformerly Demandware) Functional ArchitectSr. BA to work in a product setting in a dynamic environment.
Role
Functional Architect, an elevated role from a Senior BA. The Salesforce Commerce Cloud Functional Architectrsquos main responsibilities are Gather and define requirements. Fully understand the merchant, their business, and their capabilities. Create project documentation such as functional specifications. Provide subject-matter expertise in end-to-end functionality definition, design, deployment, and storefront operation. Drive B2C Commerce platform best practice adoption throughout the entire customer lifecycle. Ensure the solution is usable by the merchant and scales well for the future.
The successful candidate will work closely with product owner, technical lead, QA lead and scrum master to create accurate and complete specifications to meet client's business requirements and goals. Heshe will also know how to lead a team and interact with internal stakeholders and external partners. This is an exciting opportunity for a person to solve business problems, design systems, and have a direct impact on end customers. This role strikes an excellent balance between technical and business interaction.
Responsibilities Acts as the Subject Matter Expert on the functional capabilities of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform Works closely with the product owner and scrum master to define the epics and user stories Documents the priorities and user stories for execution in JIRA Works closely with the QA lead to plan for testing activities and help articulate the functional capabilities of eCommerce sites and site features Works closely with the Architecture team to translate business requirements into functional designs and requirements matrix Works closely with the SI to understand the progress against JIRA tickets and moves them along the steps for validation Leads customers through design and functional discussions, ensuring a thorough understanding of the customer's business processes and requirements Collaborates with core project team members to accurately capture requirements Documents user guides and provides customer specific training on the implemented features
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (degree or combination of equivalent education and experience) 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in an Ecommerce or related environment. Experience in cosmetics or related industry Demonstrated out-of-the-box thinking to analyze requirements from non-obvious angles Strong written and verbal communication skills, specifically in technical writing and functional specification documentation Ability to step into any situation and lead the customer and 3rd party partners to the best solution based on needs and best practices Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing tasks Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML Proficient knowledge of Jira, Confluence and Microsoft tools General working knowledge of the following business functions or concepts or demonstrated willingness and ability to rapidly learn and apply knowledge Ability to document technical (non-functional) requirements Prior experience working in an omni-channel setting is a plus User experience design and usability Analytics and ecommerce metrics and tagging Merchandising, content management, site search optimization Order management, payment process, fraud, taxation, fulfillment, customer service
