• Lead, support and grow a team of top-tier software engineers

• Be in a leadership position for Augmented Analytics, a critical pillar of Tableau’s product development strategy

• Collaborate with product management and user experience colleagues to bring useful and

Who you are…

• Experienced. You have 5+ years of experience developing code, 3+ years managing developers and a proven track record of shipping software.

• Educated. You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.

• Technical. You have experience architecting complex systems and have informed perspectives on architecture, testing and development processes.

• Strategic. You think about the big picture and can help others connect their work to the bigger picture through effective written and verbal communication.

• Innovative. You have a history of finding pragmatic solutions to difficult problems. You have experience working on ambitious, forward-looking projects.

• A Leader. You’re smart but humble. You express your own opinion passionately but stand by the group decision once committed. You get the best out of your team (including yourself).

• A Team Builder. You have demonstrated the ability to identify and develop talent. You’ve built and led high-performing teams. Experience in growing a new location for a multi-site development team is a strong plus.
