Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Entry level IT position; a great opportunity for anyone who wants to start their career in Salesforce, CRM, IT, and/or Sales automation.

Responsible for the Salesforce.com support in a fast moving organization, assisting the business with day to day production operations. Works with the cross-departmental teams to ensure daily work for internal customers is maintained.

The Junior Salesforce Administrator is expected to take every opportunity to advance skill sets in areas critical to the organization, especially those related to the Salesforce platform and the integrated applications.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide Salesforce software users with functional and technical support, through helpdesk ticket management.
  • Assist in implementation, testing, and analysis of related Salesforce.com applications.
  • Assist with maintaining overall system configuration, change control, and enhancements
  • Complete bulk imports of data using data loader. Batch updates of data including: accounts, opportunities and leads based on organizational developments and changes. Use DemandTools when pulling or cross-referencing data en mass.
  • Build internal/external customer relationships through fast response, global awareness, high performance, and dedication.
  • Monitor and test new operations policies and procedures.
  • Perform system configuration of data fields, page layouts and custom tabs, objects and applications. Establish and implement best practices: system maintenance, security, improvements, data integrity, duplicates and backups.
  • Perform administrator functions such as user management, profiles, roles, permissions, rules, assignment rules, queues, licenses, capacity and storage management. Audit data as needed during these actions, and communicate with business when needed.
  • Participate in process improvement activities and provide system performance and usage metrics.
  • Respond to support requests and solve issues for Sales Reps and Managers
  • Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues involving CRM and sales operations.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with cross-departmental in order to ensure smooth transitions into and understanding of various Salesforce applications. Work with end users to provide best practices and tips on Salesforce usage including training, documentation and support as necessary.
  • Manage and maintain third party apps
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and corresponding documentation and provide new functionalities and solutions as needed.
  • Assist in Salesforce development projects including planning, testing, implementation, and adjustment.
  • Create and updated proper documentation in alignment with audit requirements, often using Jira.
  • Pursue Salesforce Administrator Certification

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates Degree or higher
  • Overall Familiarity with Salesforce Platform

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1 years experience working as a Salesforce.com administrator and/or Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Familiarity of Help Desk Ticketing and Change Management applications (such as JIRA, Manage Engine, Zendesk, and/or Salesforce Cases)
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment or individually
  • Proficiency in standard corporate office software
