The Senior Salesforce Engineer will coordinate and partner with commercial business teams and other IT teams inside and outside of the organization to identify and manage dependencies and deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the deployment, release, monitoring, and defect reporting for Salesforce production systems
- Coordinate and facilitate timely responses to production issues
- Manage projects throughout the entire Sales development life cycle, including technical design, coding, testing, deployment, documentation and support.
- Communicate with Architect and Business analysts to best understand the needs for the system.
- Create custom objects, workflows, triggers, the Force.com IDE, migration tools, SOQL, SOSL and web services.
- Design and develop solutions on the Salesforce.com platform, using Apex programming language.
- Work data feeds to and from AS400 systems and other ETL tools.
- Own the quality of data feeds into Salesforce.
- Work with Salesforce.com Web Services APIs.
- Follow Salesforce best practices and enforce data quality policies.
- Understand Agile methodology and focus on quality following Salesforce Best practices
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of engineering experience supporting Salesforce.
- Excellent understanding of Lightning UI, Visualforce, Apex, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Good Understanding of CPQ systems and integration with Salesforce.
- Understand object-oriented concepts and ability to implement them.
- Strong understanding of other related technologies, including SQL, SOAP, HTML, etc.
- Experience with Lightning development preferred.
- Salesforce Certified Admin/Developer required.

Work Environment
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work is primarily a modern office setting.
