Summary:

We are currently seeking a Sr. Salesforce Developer to join our forward thinking and nimble Solutions Development Team to deliver Salesforce customizations for transformative initiatives across all lines of business. This position will work closely with various internal resources, including project managers, product owners, developers, and Salesforce admins as well as external vendors and consulting partners. Members of the Solutions Development Team have the opportunity to do end to end solution development, build relationships with key stakeholders, and see their solutions come to life for use by thousands of colleagues.

Essential Functions:

• Performs technical analysis, design, configuration, development, testing, and support for Salesforce customizations and integrations leveraging Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, and AppExchange products
• Designs the data model, user interface, business logic, and security for Salesforce customizations
• Performs Apex development including interfaces, classes, controllers, and triggers while effectively managing platform governors and limits
• Integrates Salesforce with 3rd party systems using web services, APIs, and AppExchange packages
• Develops reusable Lightning Web Components using JavaScript and HTML
• Provides Tier 3 Support for Salesforce applications and manage service tickets needing escalation to Salesforce
• Works with business teams to determine the value of potential product features based on the cost to develop or purchase versus the expected benefit
• Assists in the sizing and determination of efforts targeted for internal development vs. use of external partners
• Serves as a subject matter expert for the Salesforce platform, developing a deep knowledge of the company instance and how it supports downstream and upstream systems.
• Advises the business on best practices and requirements for optimizing the use of the Salesforce platform
• Seeks out ways to utilize SFDC to improve business productivity, and make recommendations to support a rapidly growing organization.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience required
• Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud experience required
• Experience writing Apex code that has gone to production is required
• Experience developing Aura components or Lightning Web Components experience is required, LWC is preferred.
• Hands on experience integrating Salesforce with 3rd party systems via web services and APIs required
• Experience installing packages from the AppExchange in production is required
• Experience developing custom Salesforce Lightning components that have gone to production is required
• Salesforce Developer Certification required
• Experience with one or more of the following preferred; Salesforce Community Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Financial Services Cloud
• Insurance industry, agency or brokerage experience preferred
