Role Summary:
As a Sr. Tableau Developer and Data Scientist, this team member will have a superior d development background that will facilitate design and development of technical solutions, dashboard creation and data analyis. Interacts with Product Owners, Analysts, Business Users, Scrum Masters and peer developers to analyze system requirements, design and develop dashboards using various technologies, heavily focused on Tableau, along with strong data validations & analytics capabilities. Technical solutions and supporting deliverables will be constructed to enable CIGNA IT clients to accomplish their business objectives. They will also be working with different parts of Technology Organization and socializing the metrics and data with the members and managers from the Senior Leaership teams. Candidates with high levels of reporting/data analytics experience are preferred.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for dashboard development using Tableau Software.

Constructs data sets and responsible for its maintenance using SQL Server.

Data Understanding and knowledge of advanced features of MS-Excel.

Responsible to design and maintain core website using DotNet.

Responsible for documentation of the development work and related processes.

Attention to details and heavy focus on quality is required.

Should be able to bring best practices for discussions with team and stakeholders.

Should be able to manage the supporting process for data storage and quality testing.

Prepare various reports and presentations for management.

Good inter-personnel skills and ability to work with core as well as extended teams.

Willingness to experiment and learn new tools and technologies.

Anticipate customers’ analytic needs and proactively conceptualize Intelligence solutions.

Actively support products by providing prompt responses to customer inquiries.

New development and support task responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
4-7 years experience participating in the development of Business Intelligence systems.
Tableau experience is required. Experience with SQL queries, SQL Server database and wenbsite design using Dotnet.
Strong MS-Excel experience for its data analysis capabilities is preferred. Experience with the Agile steps and methodology.
Knowledge of the healthcare business and subject areas is preferred.
Ability to articulate and translate technical language to non-technical customers.
Demonstrates and promotes creativity and innovation. Proactively seeks out alternative solutions to business problems.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
