Sr. Account Executive, Salesforce Services Sales

Description:
As a Sr. Account Executive at Skience, you will be responsible for formulating and executing a strategy to drive the growth of our Salesforce Services and Solutions line of business. Therefore, a proven track-record of success in selling Salesforce implementation and advisory services is required. Experience selling to clients within the Wealth Management sector of the Financial Services industry is highly preferred.
While previous Salesforce Services and Solutions sales experience and an established network of professional contacts within the Salesforce eco-system are necessary, the ideal candidate for this role will also possess previous hands-on delivery experience working on Salesforce engagements in order to have a full-appreciation of what an implementation engagement life-cycle entails and related concerns.

What You'll Do:
Responsibilities include:
- Closing new business and consistently delivering against annual quota and revenue objectives.
- Acting as Trusted Advisor and proactively working to understand the unique challenges, business needs and goals of customers while identifying how Skience solutions can be applied to address customer requirements.
- Evangelizing Skience’s value proposition and capabilities to both new and existing customers.
- Representing and promoting Skience by participating in industry networking events and in initiatives aimed at increasing our brand awareness within our target market.
- Managing complex, enterprise wide services sales-cycles from start to finish including:
- Delivering against key performance metrics with complete focus on landing new accounts and completing enterprise scale deals.
- Developing and executing “green field” sales strategy for identifying and landing new Financial Services / FinTech enterprise accounts in markets where no comparable technology penetration exists.
- Effectively partnering with internal sales and support teams such as Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Contracts to execute sales strategy.
- Engaging internal resources such as product experts, solution engineers, and industry SME’s when required to accurately assess client needs, explain product capabilities, and understand impact to client’s IT architecture and ability to achieve business goals if technology is purchased.
- Continuously developing sales pipeline through a combination of proactive sales techniques – including phone / email campaigns, networking initiatives, and by fostering and maintaining new customer relationships through in person client meetings and outreach which often entail travel.
- Presenting stakeholders at a variety of levels on Skience’s value proposition and what differentiates it from any perceived competitors.
Must Haves and Nice to Haves:
- 5+ years experience selling Salesforce Services and Solutions
- An established network of contacts within the Salesforce ecosystem (required)
- 7+ years successful quota carrying, enterprise scale SaaS software or technology solution sales experience as an individual contributor (required)
- Prior experience selling Services and Solutions within Salesforce ecosystem to clients within the Financial Services industry (preferred)
- Deep understanding of Financial Services / Wealth Management industry and FinTech market sector (preferred)
- Ability to understand business problems and effectively articulate how both Skience’s implementation and advisory services can be utilized to increase client profitability, eliminate pain points, improve operational efficiency, and increase customer satisfaction (required)
- Ability to engage successfully with stakeholders at a variety levels, from department heads to C-level executives (required)
- Extremely strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, and organizational skills required.
- Effective cold calling, networking, and prospecting skills required.
- achelor’s Degree in relevant field of study (Information Technology, Finance, etc.) preferred but not required
