They are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join their Data and Business Intelligence team. They use innovative use of data and analytics. The Senior Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for outlining requirements with key stakeholders, helping maintain sprint scope/velocity, and conducting informational sessions with both new/existing clients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Take ownership of reporting solutions that utilize data visualizations to drive workflow
• Enhance and design dashboards to improve the end-user experience and product performance
• Lead the creation of a flexible foundation that allows us to present data with a high level of data integrity
• Test and validate data models and newly developed reports
• Interface with market stakeholders to support new iterations of reporting requirements
• Work with business analysts to understand business requirements and use cases
• Problem solving and fixing technical issues
• Working as the technical lead and offshore development teams to ensure proper and efficient implementation of requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Healthcare experience is required

• 5+ years of experience designing solutions using Tableau
• 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Visualization
• 7+ years of healthcare industry experience
• Tableau certification required (Minimum Desktop Associate level, Desktop Certified preferred).
• Manipulation and migration of healthcare data using ETL skills is a plus
• Server-side administration experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in SQL; ability to query data independent of a tool
• Ability to autonomously run initiatives through to fruition while ably handling the ambiguity of an evolving environment
• Validated experience in working in large environments such as RDBMS, EDW, NoSQL, etc. is preferred
• Experience collaborating with business and technology partners and offshore development teams
• Good interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Strong knowledge of MS Office suite and Visio Drawing tool along with general familiarity with Outlook and other MS Office applications is also required

• Experience working with an EMR (eClinicalWorks/Nextgen)
• Experience working with medical and prescription claims data
• Strong functional knowledge in the Healthcare Payer and / or Provider industry.
• Knowledge of Electronic medical records systems and data
• Knowledge of HEDIS quality care measures, Claims cost analysis, and Clinic Performance Analytics.

Pay: $56.00 - $68.00 per hour
