Job Title: Sr. Business Systems Analyst
Location: San Jose, CA – Remote
Duration: Long term
Client’s Enterprise Systems team is looking for a Sr. Business Systems Analyst (BSA) who will
support our fast growing Sales team. This position will partner with Client’s Sales and Sales
Operations teams to elicit business requirements and collaborate with multiple technology teams to
drive solutions to scale the functionality in our Salesforce platform so that our Sales team can focus
on what they do best - selling! This position requires a highly experienced, driven self-starter with a
‘can do’ attitude who will take full ownership and accountability of projects from initiation to closing.
Responsibilities:
● Partner with Sales, Sales Operations and Enablement, Finance, FP&A and other business
teams to understand the root cause of their needs and elicit business requirements for
system changes
● Collaborate with our Salesforce and other technology teams (Zuora, Data Science and
Engineering, in-house systems)
● Define functional requirements, process flow diagrams and actionable tasks to deliver a
scalable solution to the business goals
● Develop strong relationships across the organization, acting as a subject matter expert
(SME) and trusted advisor in all processes related to sales
● Coordinate and collaborate with architects, developers, testers and other project team
members to translate requirements, design and develop solutions, collaborate with the
delivery team on development, manage testing activities and perform post launch activities
● Facilitate requirements and solution review sessions with business teams, functional owners
and end-users to ensure alignment and avoid surprises
● Establish detailed project plans and communicate status, risks and issues to both
technology and business leadership
● Identify resource requirements based on business and solution requirements, working with
resource managers to obtain project commitment
● Lead system and user acceptance testing, negotiating with business stakeholders, triaging
defects and obtaining stakeholder sign-off
Qualifications:
Must Have:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or equivalent
● 8+ years of experience analyzing business requirements, developing and documenting
process flows and solution designs
● 5+ years self-managing projects in fast pace and dynamic environment, including developing
project /sprint plans and reporting project status to executives
● 5+ years of experience with Salesforce.com is required with a focus on Sales Cloud (Leads,
Opportunities, Contracts, Campaigns, Quotes and integrations with tools such as LeadSpace,
LeanData, Pardot, Marketo, etc.)
● Experience with technology solutions to the sales processes such as lead conversion,
lead/account routing, ,account plans, compensation, bookings, quoting, pricing
● Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, solution architects, developers and
testers to drive end-to-end solutions
● Expertise in business process modelling and diagramming (swimlane and sequence
diagrams, process flows, UML, wireframes)
● Knowledge of prototyping solutions in Salesforce and iterating with business teams
● Experience with supporting technologies such as JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart, SOQL, SQL
Nice to Have:
● Certifications in Salesforce.com, Project Management (PMP), Agile/Scrum methodologies
(SAFe), Business Analysis (CBAP) are a plus
● Experience with Salesforce integrations with Zuora, Netsuite, Oracle or other enterprise
business systems highly recommended
