12-24 months contract position for a Sr. Mulesoft Developer in Washington, DC or 100% remote

Location: any, local to Washington DC is preferred

Overview:

∙                 Build API Management solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform

∙                 Integrate solutions with COTS applications, platforms, and/or external systems.

∙                 Create technical design specifications and participate in the technical project planning process with IT business analysts.

∙                 Work with the client to promote best practices for implementing a Mule integration solution on MuleSoft’s CloudHub platform

Technical Skills:

Mandatory:    

∙                 Mule 4 experience (multiple implementations) – 4+ years of experience 

∙                 SOAP/REST – 4+ years of experience 

∙                 RAML/SWAGGER – 4+ years of experience 

∙                 XML/JSON – 4+ years of experience 

∙                 Mule 4 certified          

Preferred: Experience with MuleSoft’s CloudHub Environment         

Job Responsibilities:

∙                 Four years minimum hands on developer experience building integrations and APIs with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform

∙                 Four years minimum experiencing coding flows in Anypoint Studio

∙                 Four years minimum experiencing design API specs using RAML, Swagger, OpenAPI or other API modeling language

∙                 Provide guidance on leading Integration Architecture concepts and patterns, including Microservices, Service Oriented Architecture, Batch Integration, RESTful JSON services, etc.

∙                 Experience building integrations that connect with one or more on premise/SaaS packaged COTS (Commercial Off-the-Shelf) solutions for ERP, CRM, e-Commerce, or mobile (e.g. Salesforce, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, WorkDay, etc.)

∙                 Experience developing, profiling, and troubleshooting Java application code and automated testing tools

∙                 Integrate solutions with COTS applications, platforms, and/or external systems.

∙                 Create technical design specifications.

∙                 Adhere to and promote quality standards and procedures.

∙                 Review modules for quality assurance and checks compliance with application standards and SLAs.

∙                 Experience with MUnit testing

∙                 Make modules production-ready by following release procedures and completing version control documents.

∙                 Provide support for System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

∙                 Provides post go-live hyper care support. Troubleshoot existing information on systems to identify errors or deficiencies and develops solutions.

∙                 Provide technical coaching and mentoring to less-experienced team members.

∙                 Mule 4 Certified

∙                 Any MuleSoft Development Resources: minimum of five-plus (5+) years of Software development experience

Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree required
