Position Sr. Report Developer (SSRS Tableau) Location Scottsdale, AZ Mode C2C (Long Term Contract) Job Description Position Description The Report Developer is a technical resource that serves as a liaison between the business and development team with a focus on creating automated reporting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills both verbally and written. They will have the ability to analyze and distill complex business needs into automated reports. They will work closely with the Project ManagerScrum Master and development team to design, develop, and deliver scalable, extensible, and sustainable data and reporting solutions. This person will participate in business requirement gathering sessions and deliver technical solutions utilizing Microsoft SSRS and Tableau Dashboard software. Key Responsibilities Works with BI Analysts to understand customer needs. Collects analyze and shares data to help business teams drive improvement in key business metrics, customer experience, and business results. Utilizes database and web application technologies to design, develop, and evaluate innovatively business intelligence tools and automated reports. Perform data conversions, imports, and exports of data within and between internal and external software systems Enhance the performance of business intelligence tools by defining data to filter and indexes Document new and existing models, solutions, and implementations Troubleshoot BI tools, systems, and software Participate in the workstream planning process including inception, technical design, development, testing, and delivery of Tableau Dashboards. Also, in project management estimation process Work with BI Data Analytics and customers to understand customer needs and create ad hoc reports to support timely business decisions and project work Analyze business and functional requirements and translates these requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions Maintain the quality of data and provide input to the development of datainformation quality metrics. Technical Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or related field 10+ years of technical expertise (Tableau MSSQL) Hands-on experience supporting Business IntelligenceData Warehousing environments Develop key performance indicators, analyze trends, time-series analysis, and what-if scenario planning in Tableau. Excellent written and verbal communication along with strong analytical, problem-solving skills Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
