The Salesforce Administration role will drive business capabilities utilizing Salesforce capabilities into our Customer Service and Sales processes. The admin will work with various internal groups to extend salesforce user experience, and work with developers to understand and build new features to be deployed meeting or exceeding the needs of the customer.
Organizational Relationship:
Reports to: Director, IT Business Applications
Responsibilities:
- Serves as primary system administrator for the Salesforce environment with over 150 users
- Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests
- Proactively identify opportunities to recommend solutions to business needs
- Continuous research into new system features and functionality
- Partner with developers and stakeholders to ensure business requirements are fully implemented
- Thoroughly test complete, and ensure system quality maintained
- Effectively manage project timelines, communication, and risks
- Adherence to IT change management practices
- Produce high quality documentation
- Maintain security and integration of application software
- Conducts training and support on Salesforce functionality when required
- Works off-hours on troubleshooting and system upgrades when required
- Handles basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, workflows and reports
- Ensures Salesforce production and Sandbox environments are properly updated and maintained

Experience & Education:
- 4+ Years Salesforce Administrator experience
- Strong Experience and understanding of Salesforce data model
- Experience with UI and process development with lightning experience toolset
- Experience with Visualforce
- Experience with Community Pages
- Salesforce automation experience
- Salesforce deployment from sandbox to production deployments.
- Salesforce reporting experience
- Experience with APEX code or strong understanding of another programming language helpful
- Experience with Salesforce integrations using APIs, JSON, etc. desirable
- Development experience is preferred
- SQL/SOQL experience very helpful
