DESCRIPTION: SunPower Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Engineer to enhance and maintain the Salesforce platform for the Sales/Marketing workstream. This role will report to the Sr. Manager of Engineering.

- Develop solutions on the Salesforce platform to meet end-to-end process requirements in support of the dynamic expansion of the sales platform
- Partner with the product management team and peers to define application roadmap to ensure a scalable and effective application infrastructure
- Conduct peer review code evaluation and recommend appropriate feedback
- Abide by security and standards best-practices when developing, reviewing, and delivering features
- Advise managers, peers, or product management on business process improvement and reengineering opportunities
- Work with product owners to ensure that relevant information systems serve the business needs effectively
- Project leadership through all phases of the project lifecycle, including Analysis, Requirements Definition, Design, Build & Test, Conversion, Deployment
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent field, plus 4+ years of relevant development experience coding with Apex, Lightning, LWC, Apex, Triggers, Flows, SLDS on the Salesforce platform
- Engineering degree preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and years of related experience.
- Understanding of object-oriented concepts, abstraction/inheritance, as well as experience with object-oriented languages.
- Experience in designing, developing, testing, implementing, deploying, and maintenance of software applications
- Experience in using efficient methodologies (e.g. Agile – Extreme programming, test-driven development), version control, and continuous deployment tools (e.g. Git/Jenkins/SourceTree/BitBucket/etc.)
- Web services: RESTful web services, GraphQL, SOAP, tools such as Postman/SoapUI
- Solid understanding of web technologies, such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, XML, JavaScript, JSON, and/or Ajax
- Frontend JS Frameworks: Vue/React/Svelte/Angular/Web Components or any similar component-based UI experience nice to have
- Scripting: Bash, Python is a plus
- Self-motivated and well organized with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to effectively communicate and contribute to new ideas or methodologies
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Exercises exceptional judgment in selecting implementation methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fun to work with and sense of humor appreciated
