A Sr. Salesforce Developer job in Houston, TX or Chicago, IL is available through Modis, Inc (direct hire role).  No C2C or visa sponsorship available.  The Sr. Salesforce Developer will be responsible for custom coding using Apex, dataloads/integration, design roadmap, and Salesforce SDLC responsibility. This individual will work with a team of Salesforce, AWS, Database, Data Science, and third party vendors. This is primarily a development position with backup and minor work as Salesforce administrator.

Sr. Salesforce Developer job responsibilities include:

•     5+ years direct experience with Salesforce.com architecture components

•     Experience in depth Salesforce programming with Apex, SOSQL, VisualForce, APIs, Apex mastery is required.

•     Recommend, implement, test, and deploy Apex classes and triggers

•     Controlling the adaptability of API’s for integration of information and processes so data      flows to 3rd party application and G/L

•     Design & implement web-based interfaces utilizing Apex code, Web Services, etc. 

•   Work with non SF developer and data team

Qualifications:

•     Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or technical area or related work experience;

•     5+ years of Salesforce.com Developer experience;

•     Experience automating workflow. Strong knowledge of APIs (SOAP, REST)

•     Strong commitment to system and process scalability as well as surrounding governance;

•     Experience managing and leading Salesforce development projects and initiatives

Preferred Skill Requirements

•     Salesforce Developer Certification is preferred;

•     Apex/Visualforce development experience is preferred;

•     Technical writing or professional business writing experience is preferred
