The Sr Tableau Business Intelligence Analyst is a key role in supporting organizational readiness, performance, client management, and the overall success of services within the company. This role directly supports the organization’s Business Intelligence function through taking a lead role on large projects with multiple stakeholders, completing complex analysis involving multiple data sources, assessing opportunities for process improvement, developing innovative use for existing data, developing plans for capturing and utilizing supplemental data, and supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives. The Business Intelligence Analyst has strong SQL skills to pull required data sets, complimented by skills in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Business Objects, or SSRS.

The ideal candidate possesses in-depth knowledge of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry, understands key service level and success measures and demonstrates an ability to identify underlying causes and correlations. The candidate must exhibit exceptional analytic and problem-solving abilities as well as strong communication and presentation skills that enable them to lead internal and client discussions to drive information-based decisions to be made.

Key Responsibilities:

• Takes lead roles in large, complex, or cross-functional projects, managing the Market and Business Intelligence team’s role in concert with other stakeholders, internal and external
• Performs the normal functions associated with a Data Query Analyst
• Collaborates with, develops, and trains less skilled or experienced teammates on technical or operational issues, to allow them to deliver quality work on time
• Engages with clients on highly complex or escalated requests
• Develops and writes documentation for departmental processes
• Drives innovation by searching for and evaluating new tools, processes, and ways of thinking about data

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Business Experience – 3+ years’ experience in data analysis in a Tableau environment.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

• Thorough knowledge of company functions and the effects of data changes on those departments.
• Thorough understanding of SQL methods to query various size data sets is needed.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau is a MUST.
• Knowledge of statistical tools such as R or Data Analysis in Excel.
• Healthcare/Pharmacy industry experience highly desired.

4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
