Tableau Developer Job Summary

The Senior Software Engineer (Business Intelligence) uses data visualization to drive customers to insights, independently selects appropriate metrics to clearly present a business story, and produces readable, useable, and visually appealing reports based on requirements and feedback from customers. The Senior BI Engineer demonstrates knowledge of syntax and best practices in database querying, writes stored procedures/functions, creates data infrastructure and processes for reporting, and analysis, troubleshoots own processes and builds in basic controls, develops sematic layers for analytical use, and solves a variety of complex problems with limited guidance by taking an engineering approach.



Tableau Developer Job Responsibilities

• Extensive experience in Tableau is required
  
• 7+ years of related experience is required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or equivalent experience is required
• Have a strong understanding of Tableau security best practices
• Solid understanding of Data Warehouse modeling techniques
• Experience with AWS technologies and/or Snowflake integrations is a nice to have
• Possess strong communication skills both verbally and written
