Required

6+ years of experience as Tableau Developer
Proven experience in Dashboard Design and build using Tableau
Experience in visualization development
Experience is Tableau administration is preferred
Experience with other BI tools (Business Objects, or PowerBI is preferred).
Solid RDMS experience and data modeling and advanced querying skills.
Experience working with a data warehouse and/or analytics team.
Experience working with Annuities data
Proficient in Project Management and SDLC processes.
Awareness of agile/iterative approaches.
Strong understanding of SDLC process is needed
Strong ability to extract information by questioning, active listening, and interviewing
Excellent communication, collaboration, & interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent writing skills, with the ability to create clear requirements, specifications, and documentation
Strong ability to communicate embed information, business process and system wide changes to a technical and non-technical audience
Ability to work on own initiative within agreed boundaries
Flexible and adaptable
Strong sense of teamwork and ability to both lead and execute work
Experience with Agile project is preferred
Good documentation skill is needed
Experience using JIRA / Confluence is needed

Responsibility

Design and creation of Dashboards using Tableau
Creating visualizations for the data extracted with the help of Tableau
Identifying patterns and meaningful insights from data by analyzing it
Extract data from databases and data warehouses for reporting and to facilitate sharing between multiple data systems.
Using SQL for managing large volume of data
Communicating with customers to analyze historical data and identify KPIs
Responsible for managing the technical delivery from Offshore and make sure the team delivers reports as per the requirements
Producing support documentation and keep existing documentation up-to-date
Carrying out investigation of root cause analysis
Suggest best practices from Tableau Administration perspective
Bring best practices for Tableau dashboard development
Work and partner with business & IT teams to develop reports or address data needs to provide reporting solutions
Synthesize and translate Business data needs into creative visualizations in Tableau
Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using Tableau
Manage the Tableau solution architecture, administration and actively manage the performance and usability. Align/standardize team members on best practices around Tableau driven implementations.
Perform and document data analysis, data validation, data mapping/design, by accessing multiple sources, specifically data residing in data warehouses.
Complete projects as assigned by manager or service management, and may assists with other functional areas as needed
