What you will be doing…
You will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining all aspects of the Salesforce platform as well as external integrations with multiple Salesforce APIs. You will work with native Salesforce platform components in front-end and back-end use case scenarios. And you will execute your work following best practices for software engineering in development, testing, build and release management.

You will want to draw on your architectural skills and experience to evaluate advantages and trade-offs in finding robust and scalable solutions to business problems. Whether it is leveraging the abilities of the SFDC environment, build vs. buy decisioning, or defining a custom solution – you can provide the necessary depth of understanding and analysis to make the right decision at the right time.

  • Design and develop robust & scalable solutions around the Salesforce CRM platform
  • Contribute to our team’s growing set of development tools and processes
  • Lead initiatives that cross functional and team boundaries
  • Provide meaningful code and design reviews
  • Work with product stakeholders to define the future of the Salesforce platform
  • Leave the codebase better than you found it
Preferred skills
  • Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly
  • Experience working with all aspects of the Salesforce platform, including APIs and 3 rd -party related components
  • Demonstrated experience with one or more object-oriented or functional programming languages
  • Integration experience with web services and micro-service architectures
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a party of a team
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Salesforce Technical Architect certification a plus
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of relevant development experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with significant computer coursework
  • Excellent object-oriented or functional programming skills
  • Excellent cross-team communicator with technical and non-technical team members
  • Prior experience with Salesforce system management and oversight
Who You Are
  • Driven. You have capability and passion for both front-end and back-end disciplines of software engineering.
  • Technical chops. You know the Salesforce eco-system in-depth and understand how to use the platform effectively. In addition, you will be familiar with services leveraged by cloud technologies such as databases, queues, and asynchronous/parallel operations. Bonus points if you hold a Salesforce technical certification.
  • Productive. You believe in automation and writing tests for your own code as a way of maintaining high quality in your products. You love writing things that "just work" - things that are robust, scalable, and perform well.
  • A Team Player. You enjoy collaborating, learning from or teaching others so we can all become better developers.
