Role: Storage Engineer

Responsibilities:

Be part of the corporate IT team that provides the tools to solve some of the most challenging space enterprise issues.Design and provide storage solutions for our engineers and scientists as well as our corporate business environment.Evaluate new storage hardware and software to meet business requirements.Develop automated processes to monitor, manage and provision storage devices.Utilize scripting and code to enhance and automate operations including provisioning, monitoring and capacity planning.

Requirements: 

• 5+ years of experience as Storage Engineer or related role.
• Bachelor’s or Masters Degree
• Good hands-on experience in Administration EMC Storage (VNX, VNXe, Unity, Symmetrix (VMAX/AFA), Isilon, RP, AppSync, VPLEX).
• Good hands-on experience in Administration on CISCO and Brocade switches.
• Good hands-on experience in Administration NetApp Storage ( 7-mode and Cdot).
• Good hands-on experience in Administration of IBM All Flash Storage.
• Good troubleshooting experience on Storage Infrastructure.
• Strong Knowledge on Performance analysis factors of Storage Infrastructure.

Experience:

• Experience with fabric switching solutions, SCSI-fiber bridges, cable management, and other data center storage technologies.
• Thorough understanding of Data Protection and Disaster Recovery technologies(NetApp SnapMirror, SnapVault)
• Experience to McData Fibre Channel Switches, Brocade Switches and Cisco Switches.
• Proficient with daily tasks which include Lun mapping, masking, and zoning
• Comfortable in opening cases with NetApp/EMC/IBM and driving them to close
• Ability to quickly assimilate technical and non-technical information.
