Job Category Products and Technology Job Details Locations: Dallas, TX Indianapolis, IN San Francisco, CA (Internal only) Sr. Tableau Administrator/Developer role with deep understanding of Tableau and ETL tools. The resource should have the good analytical and problem-solving skills and should be able to perform in a fast-paced / agile environment. Expert in Tableau and design technique as well as experience working across large environments with multiple operating systems. Technology Experience Overall 5-7 years of experience in Business Intelligence. 5+ years of experience with Tableau Administration and dashboard Development. Support and establish standards for platform usage, maintain user knowledge base reviews, troublesome workbooks, data sources and provide suggestions to users for improvements. Interface with business point of contacts in setup of applications and provide support and operational management of the Tableau environment. Responsibilities: Automate, operationalize, monitor and manage data pulled from various source systems Support day-to-day operational tasks, providing prompt and efficient resolution to a wide range of issues and developing operational procedures and policies to manage volume. Experience with installation, configuration and support of Tableau Server and associated Tableau client products. Responsible for BI Platforms maintenance and monitoring. Report and analyze data from multiple sources to create integrated views that can be used to drive decision making. Work with, and analyze, several large and complex data sets Design and build reports and analyses in Excel and other analysis and reporting tools such as Tableau , Einstein Analytics. Partner with stakeholders across Salesforce to understand data needs and define self-service reporting solutions. Assist in data validation and data clean up requests as needed Knowledge of Tableau best practices in performance tuning and user-centric design, proactive alerts, etc. Required Skills: Expert proficiency in Tableau and other Analytical and Reporting tools Expertise with Tableau BI Product Suite as an administrator and developer. Strong analytical/modeling skills with the ability to convert raw data into actionable business insights. Experience with scripting tools like Python, JSON etc.. Experience with databases and writing SQL (Oracle, MySQL etc.. ) Familiarity with traditional BI and discovery tools Hands-on experience in analyzing data, identifying trends and building visualizations Experience with data modeling, logical schema design and data warehouse concepts including techniques for handling semi-structured and unstructured data. Desired Skills: ETL (Mulesoft, Informatica and Auto etl) exposure. Passion to learn new tools and technologies such as Salesforce Einstein Analytics Strong written and verbal communication and Effectively work with senior leadership Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, able to shift directions quickly when priorities change, think through problems to come up with innovative solutions and deliver against very tight deadlines Willing to receive direction and guidance within a team environment, adopt and develop best practices and circumnavigate obstacles with creative technical solutions Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams.
