Our client, one of the largest banks in the US with wealth management, investment banking, and international business, is seeking a Tableau Developer

Location: New York, NY

Position Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

-Design, develop, test and deploy new Tableau dashboards

-Research source data and design queries that bring data into Tableau

Required Job Skills:

-Typically, 5-7 years of IT experience.

-Expertise with Tableau version 10.4 & 2019.x

-High proficiency with dashboard design, visual storytelling, data visualization

-Strong SQL design, development and analytical skills

-In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g. Oracle and SQL Server)

-Ability to work in and adapt to a VERY fast paced environment with rapidly changing directions able to drive projects forward independently

-Ability test and document end-to-end processes

-Ability to provide data visualization solutions

-Excellent communication skills (must be able to interface with both technical and business leaders in the organization)

-Strong technical documentation skills (coding, data mapping, schema design)

Desired Job Skills:

-Familiarity with Data Quality methodologies and metrics

-Working knowledge of other BI Tools to expand capabilities of the team and organization

-Working knowledge of Alteryx or other data movement tools

-Experience with TOAD

-Experience with Python and/or R programming language

-Experience with utilizing scripting languages to leverage Tableau's APIs (JavaScript API, Data Extract API, REST API)

-Understanding of the Agile Development process
