Job Responsibilities:

Children's Mercy is seeking a local (or willing to relocate to Kansas City) Tableau Administrator with experience in installation, configuration, and administration of the Tableau server and client applications. This Tableau Administrator position involves the design and development of the BI/Tableau data infrastructure, data source creation, security, site management, and overall Tableau support. Development experience in the Tableau environment is required. The collaborative nature of this project requires excellent communication skills and the ability to understand and refine requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree and 1-2 years experience Tableau Creator and Tableau Administrator 
• Optimize data sets for performance and user interactions.
• Manage user and group setup.
• Create and manage Tableau Server environments(single-node/multi-node cluster).
• Establish and manage connections with other environments for obtaining data.
• Maintains Tableau on Windows Azure Server - upgrades, patches, etc.
• Job scheduling.
• Troubleshooting of technical issues.
• Performance tuning using tools from Tableau and third parties.
• Develop SLAs for responses and fixes.
• Working with product vendors (like Tableau) for any product issues etc.
