This person is responsible for supporting the data governance program within the Data Technology Services. The person will support activities related to the development of Data Governance as critical practices such as platform buildout, metadata repository implementation, automation and seamless integration into cloud and on-premise data platforms through standard APIs and other methods.

• Collaborate with business to profile source system data and perform logical mapping of source data through the rationalization of the information value chain, based on the business requirements
• Assist in the architecture, design and development of overall Data Governance Platform architecture definition, vision, and supporting artifacts
• Analyze, define, document requirements and code for data, workflow, logical processes, and user roles and privileges
• Assist in the integration of the data governance platform and multiple data stores to allow the ingestion of metadata
• Ensure that the architecture is used as a lens and a filter to identify, prioritize and execute the ongoing initiatives with clear line of sight to enterprise strategies and business outcomes.
• Aid in the analysis of data and analytics security requirements and solutions to ensure that enterprise data and analytics assets are treated as a protected asset.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in computer science or engineering or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
• Knowledge of or experience with modern cloud-based technologies such as AWS and Azure, or similar
• Knowledge of financial services industry
• In-depth understanding of design patterns and their application
• Fluency in developing and understanding sequence diagrams, class models, etc.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills
• Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take
• Structurally analysis Collibra Data Governance solution under business and IT strategy
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux, scripting (Java, Groovy etc.) and server management.
• Experience in workflow design and development (e.g. BPMN, Java, Json, HTML, CSS etc ) and connectors.

Knowledge of Data Governance operating model in tools such as Collibra, Axon, Alation etc.
Understanding of Data Governance and metadata management concepts (user roles, permissions and responsibilities, LDAP, data lineage, data privacy, business glossaries, data cataloguing etc.).
Installation and upgrade of software packages including deployment and migrations.
Experience in the Integration of large-scale applications/systems including REST/APIs and/or MuleSoft.
Experience in big data technologies and cloud environments (Cloudera and AWS etc.).
Experience in database technologies such as SQL, AWS RDS, Snowflake, Exadata, Tableau
Understanding of Agile Methodologies (SCRUM, KANBAN, SAFe, etc.)
