Your Mission:

• Help establish and own all Tableau architectural standards across the entire Acorn AI portfolio of projects
• Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure that architectural decisions satisfy the long-term business strategy for Acorn AI
• Work “hands on” with project teams to drive the design and development of dashboards
• Document and design database tables that will be the source of Acorn dashboards
• Support ongoing projects, make changes to existing dashboards, create new dashboards that will perform optimally
• Mentor and train other technical team members on best practices of developing dashboards
• Help lead and grow Tableau practice at Client and work on internal initiatives to develop standards and further automate solutions
• Contribute to standards across other types of BI tools like PowerBI and QlikSense.

Your Education & Experience:

Must-have qualifications and expertise: 

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• Ability to communicate well across teams and to communicate feasibility of functionality and give design suggestions
• 4+ years of experience designing and developing Tableau dashboards at scale
• 4+ years of experience with designing tables that can support Tableau dashboards
• Expertise in development of reports in Tableau
• Strong understanding of advanced Tableau features including calculated fields, parameters, table calculations, row-level security, integration, joins, data blending, interactivity, drill-down capabilities, and dashboard actions
• Strong attention to detail in making the dashboards visually appealing, consistent, and meeting defined requirements
• 2-3 years SQL experience

The following will be helpful, but are not essential:

• A strong analytical background and the ability to quickly digest and evaluate complex analyses with a keen eye for detail
• Tableau Desktop certification
• Experience working in Life sciences or across the healthcare value chain
• Experience using TabJolt or similar performance testing tools
• Experience in other BI tools like Power BI
