Prefer for the candidate to be based out of Bay Area post covid but 100% remote is an option for the ideal candidate. 

• This role is for a strategic, hands-on CoE lead position in the team to guide development efforts and implement best practices.
• Tableau certification is preferred.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills (both in presentation and comprehension), along with the aptitude for thought leadership in Tableau is required.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and lead business intelligence whiteboarding sessions, workshops, design sessions, and project meetings, while building strong client relations with Business Stakeholders for Tableau solutions.
• Establish standards and best practices for dashboards and related technologies for the project
• Design and Construct Tableau foundation and implement a long-term strategy for Tableau platform.
• Administer Tableau Online in multiple environments for maximum efficiency and performance
• Experience in publishing reports, dashboards and data sources to Tableau Server and maintain them.
• Create/Manage Workbooks and Projects, Database Views, Data Sources and Data Connections
• Support the team with an understanding of business and data requirements, and iteratively design visualizations for customer presentation
• Guide the team through setting up a Tableau data visualization Center of Excellence and/or enablement model

Qualifications:

• Deep Experience specializing in enterprise Tableau Online BI solution architecture, design, and development.
• Proven passion for analytics and Business Intelligence and the ability to communicate its value as a strategic business advantage.
• Perform detailed data analysis (i.e. determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples)
• Design and create data visualizations (reports and dashboards) as required to support user stories, including UI/visualization aspects
• Develop innovative solutions, taking into consideration performance, scalability, and availability with realistic implementation schedules.
• Change management including upgrades, monitor server activity/usage statistics to identify possible performance issues/enhancements. Performance tuning / Server management of tableau server environment (clustering, Load balancing)
• Highly self-driven and able to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
• Strong work ethic with good time management with ability to work with diverse teams and lead meetings.
• Tableau Certification preferred.
