Tableau Developer Summary:

Signature Consultants is looking for a Tableau Developer with 7 years of industry experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst in a Data warehousing environment. Sound statistical knowledge of predictive solution models including linear, multiple regression models is required. Our client is seeking an individual with adeptness to organize information, communicate and present research findings in a clear and useful manner. This proactive team player needs the capability of handling responsibilities independently as well as in a team environment and must display strong analytical, problem-solving skills and document function/process flows.

Qualifications:

• Experience as Tableau Developer, data discovery, data visualization, data analysis, report development and SQL developer for Media and Communication, Financial verticals.


• Excellent knowledge in Data Analysis, Data Cleansing, Data Verification and identifying data mismatch.


• Tableau BI reporting experience using Tableau Desktop version 8x/9x, Tableau Server, and Tableau Reader creating worksheets, Graphs, Charts and dashboards.


• Hands-on designing and deploying rich Graphic visualizations with Drill Down and Drop down menu option and Parameterized dashboards using Tableau.


• Extensive experience writing complex SQL queries reading data from Data warehouse tables in SQL, MySQL, Teradata, Db2.


• Strong experience in using Excel and MS Access to dump the data and analyze based on business needs.


• Strong experience in Data Analysis, Data Migration, Data Cleansing, Transformation, Integration, Data Import, and Data Export through the use of ETL tools such as SSIS. Experience in testing and writing SQL statements.


• Extensive experience on interaction with system users in gathering business requirements and involved in developing projects. Chaired and conducted JAD sessions with business and technical teams.


• Extensive knowledge and experience in producing tables, reports, graphs and listings using various procedures and handling large databases to perform complex data manipulations.


• Extensive experience on business intelligence (and BI technologies) tools such as OLAP, Data warehousing, reporting and querying tools, Data mining and Spreadsheets.


• Adept at writing Data Mapping Documents, Data Transformation Rules and maintaining Data Dictionary and Interface requirements documents.


• Created and executed Test Plan, Test Scripts, and Test Cases based on Design document and User Requirement document for testing purposes.


• Extensive experience in the testing environment, which included User Acceptance Testing (UAT), functional testing, system testing and defect tracking using Clear Quest.


• Experience with Star schema modeling and knowledge of Snowflake dimensional modeling.


• Experience performing ETL (extract transform load) using SSIS programming.


• Experience in working with customers to determine their needs, gather, analyze and document requirements, communicate with customers throughout the development cycle, manage customer expectations, resolve issues and provide project status


• Good communication skills, inter personal skills and proven ability to perform both as an individual and as a team player
