Tableau Developer

Job Description

This role is for an individual who will act as the Tableau developer of a small Business Intelligence team. The role will require the individual to fulfill the following requirements. If qualified please send resume to [email protected]:

• Be well versed in Tableau Desktop
• Alteryx Experience
• Ability to apply industry best practices to new dashboards to be built
• Experienced in some form of standard, formalized, SDLC process – ideally Agile.
• Be able to clearly communicate recommendations on dashboard design, performance, etc to both peers and stakeholders.
• Have a genuine interest in data and how to gain insights/meaning from proper visualization
• Experience in some ETL tools such as Tableau Prep, Alteryx is a bonus.
• There will be a small support component to the role as well – i.e. updating dashboard data on a daily basis until full automation is in place.
• Need to work East Coast hours
• To reiterate, communication ability will be very important – this role will be the primary dev with a backup to partner with, and tertiary support person available
