Summary:

As a Tableau Developer on the Front Office Data Analytics team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Front Office and IT teams to design and develop best in class business intelligence and technology solutions. The Tableau Developer works with the business to identify business drivers, KPIs or decisions that can be informed by data. They apply their knowledge of visualization tools to design interactive dashboards that quickly communicate insights. We’re looking for a new member to join our growing team that is eager to learn and has a strong sense of professional pride and individual accountability.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with our Front Office business partners to identify new opportunities to develop data analytics solutions
• Lead dashboard design process and own rollouts from development to production across different business areas
• Partner with development teams to design and test optimal data structures for high-performing interactive dashboards
• Create functional & technical documentation related to Business Intelligence solutions
• Lead and mentor data visualization developers in information presentation & delivery

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the field of Business Intelligence or Information Management
• 3+ years of experience leading data visualization approaches for projects, developing innovative approaches, and enterprise dashboard rollouts and adoption
• Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize work within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
• Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience building dashboards in Tableau Desktop and publishing content to Tableau Server - Snowflake and Tableau development preferred but not required
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational and dimensional database structures, theories, principles, and practices
• Knowledgeable of dashboard performance optimization techniques
• Experience developing solutions that require Row-Level database security
• Experience in data storytelling and information design (design thinking, semantically resonant colors, Gestalt principles) preferred but not required
• Proficient in Python preferred but not required
• Financial industry and investment risk experience is not required for this position
