Job Description Tableau Developer

Position Description
Working as a Tableau Developer, you will partner with developers to gather, document and review the requirements. Your experience building Tableau dashboard repots and data analysis will help developers gain the insights needed for the project. You will need the ability to illustrate complex analysis in a concise and simple fashion, and prepare presentations for senior management.

Your future duties and responsibilities

You Will

Designing and enhance Tableau dashboards and data visualizations

Conduct performance tuning so that the Tableau Dashboards meet the acceptable threshold of response time as specified.

Work collaboratively with business management and staff to deliver technical solutions that meet customer needs.

Work effectively with customers in all phases of application development projects, potentially including requirements gathering, design, testing and change management.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

5+ years of experience working with Tableau BI technologies against various backend data sources.

6+ years of experience with Tableau

6+ years with SQL

Experience with designing and enhancing Tableau dashboards and data visualizations

Strong knowledge of PL SQL

Experience with Oracle and SQL Server

Business and Data Analysis expertise

Preferred experience in Financial Services industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Team player with ability to work in a rapidly changing environment utilizing good time management and prioritization skills, while maintaining high quality and being flexible to customer needs and timelines

Education: BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related IT field or equivalent combination of experience and education
