Overview:
The candidate should possess experience in Tableau Online and Desktop tools, SQL, ETL, Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing concepts, and experience handling data from multiple databases, data formats and sources including Web based Client/Server applications. The candidate should have experience of customer requirements, evaluating business processes, performing data analysis and developing solutions in collaboration with multiple areas of the project. Additional responsibilities include evaluating and testing software applications, compiling data and producing relevant reports.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in Tableau products (Server, Desktop, Public, Online and Reader). Good knowledge of databases and working with SQL. The candidate will provide oversight and be accountable for quality of services and deliverables. Candidate will also provide technical recommendations and support implementation into the system solution.
Degree:
Holds a four-year degree from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities:
As a Tableau developer, you will help lead the design and development of reports, dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau desktop and online tools, for online presentation and ad-hoc data analysis. You will work with the Tableau tools (Server – both cloud and on-premise), including application security and administration required for sharing data visualizations for users. You will be involved in managing multiple data formats, designing dashboards, identifying patterns and meaningful insights from data, tuning SQL for improving performance, examining business processes and resolving issues for streamlined presentation of data and developing reports and reference documents for the finalized project. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams to provide connections to new and existing data sources, prepare data for use in Tableau online, publish data sources and workbooks, coordinate releases of data analysis and workbooks. You will coordinate the data transformation and migration between environments, prior to the deployment to the production environments. The candidate must be able to translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture, design and extensible code. This includes providing technical and analytical guidance for enterprise architecture and implementing best practices in the areas of BI, reporting application components and security.

- Must possess strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Experienced in debugging, diagnosing and trouble-shooting complex production code
- Lead in Analysis, Design, Development, and Implementation of integration services
- Thorough understanding of Agile methodology
- Ability to collaborate with client teams to prioritize the requirements for sprints
- Collaborate with Testing, Training and Infrastructure teams
- Develop applications, interfaces and process flows
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including presentation skills)
- Public Sector experience is a plus
- Aggregate and synthesize data from authoritative systems into metrics and analytics
- Ability to quickly comprehend complexity and convey findings in concise, well-written narratives
