About The Role

Splash is looking for an outstanding individual with exceptional skills and experience developing business intelligence solutions in Tableau. The role sits on the Data Team at Splash, which is responsible for providing wide-ranging analytical support to all teams at the company and works on a daily basis with senior executive leadership. Leveraging Tableau, this person will have the ability to tell a story by turning complex datasets into simple and compelling visualizations that help people across the company make better-informed decisions. The right person for this role is passionate about communicating cross-functionally, understanding business problems, and building interactive data dashboards that help people discover answers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy Tableau dashboards to enable data-driven decision-making
• Gain a deep understanding of business requirements by communicating cross-functionally with key stakeholders
• Build and present powerful, interactive visualizations of our data
• Create functional and technical documentation related to business intelligence solutions
• Audit peer dashboards and provide constructive feedback
• Work with the product and engineering teams to capture and surface the most relevant and highest quality data

Qualifications

• Tableau Desktop Professional Certification
• 2+ years of experience with Tableau
• Deep understanding of data visualization best practices
• Experience in a business intelligence function in a B2B organization preferred
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Effective communication skills when interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Impeccable attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize work within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
• Knowledge of Python is a plus
• Familiarity with ETL pipelines and data engineering is a plus
