Tableau Developer
Location: Sacramento, CA (you MUST relo to work on-site)
Duration: 6-12 months+
The Tableau Developer will perform complex data analysis, data quality assurance, develop custom reports and data visualizations, design and deploy case report forms, perform systems administration and provide technical support for our client’s users and affiliates. Analyze user needs and solve issues related to clinical trials data management activities; and act as the lead technical resource for the customers’ application and databases and other clinical trials-related data sources. Fulfill internal and external data inquiries, report requests and governmental agency requirements, such as data uploads and data tables related to cancer cases, patient and study accruals, etc. Work independently and closely with Research IT and the customers’ application vendor to report, troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues. Coordinate timely and low impact product upgrades, security updates and product enhancements and provide related assistance in assessing impact, testing and implementation. Provide analysis and functional requirements for requesting back-end services of Research IT and/or customers’ application vendor.

Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience with Business Intelligence/Analysis
- 5+ years’ experience with Tableau including; developing Tableau Dashboards for Visualization Solutions.
- Strong SQL (Develop queries to extra data)
- Experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL server
- Strong Data Analysis and Management including; developing data model to create reports and dashboards.
- Experience gathering and capturing requirements by white boarding with stakeholders.
