Position Overview Harmonics Consulting is seeking an experienced developeradministrator to provide Tableau development, application support and administration for our federal government client. The position involves significant interaction with the end users, systems engineers, program management and application development team. The individual must bring a strong combination of technical understanding, communication skills and emotional intelligence. U.S. Citizenship is required. Responsibilities In this role you will work primarily as a Tableau developer (75) with some application support systems administration responsibilities (25). As part of the BI team, you will map customer requests to Tableau functionality and develop visualizations with end users. You will work with business users and various stakeholders to design and implement proof of concept solutions and create advanced visualizations and interactive Tableau Dashboard reports. Working with the Infrastructure team, you will monitor, analyze and optimize compute, storage and network performance to ensure application services meet business requirements. In addition, you will provide engineering architecture support for beta testing new Tableau versions and features prior to production deployment, as well as Tableau system security hardening, POAM mitigation. Proficiency with full range of Tableau platform technologies. Ability to analyze, understand data sources and design a data model for data capture and ETL Strong working knowledge of database technologies such as Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, MySql or Oracle Experience working within Federal Security Requirements. Familiarity with VMware or other server virtualization technology Qualifications Bachelorrsquos degree in Computer Science or related field 5 years of data-centric design, development and architecture experience with primary focus on BI, reporting and analytics solution development 3 years of experience architecting, designing, and developing enterprise wide dashboards and reporting solutions 3 years of system andor application administration experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Tableau certification is strongly desired but not required About Harmonics Harmonics Consulting is an innovative, award-winning small business looking for motivated IT professionals to deliver superior service to our clients while aspiring to take their career to the next level.
