Role       : Tableau Lead Consultant

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Type       : Contract

Job Description:

• 10+ years of experience in BI with at least 3-5 years of experience building & managing solutions using Tableau on Big Data & SQL Data sources.
• Act as product manager and able to manage the application
• Understand the nuances of data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI etc and plan the road map
• Designing data model from scratch to aid team in data collection to be used for Tableau visuals
• Work with infrastructure teams to plan and manage activities like upgrades, patches etc.
• Strong understanding and usage of advanced Tableau features
• Conducted presentations to other lines of business as a meta role to show value of Tableau as a BI tool
• Troubleshoot ongoing Tableau reporting issues and as part of upgrades
• Ability to own and work all issues through resolution.
• Assist in the facilitation of end user testing and providing customer support during post-production phase.
• Leverage industry best practices and methods.
• Define documentation to support the implementation of best practices.
• Work closely with onsite team and able to deliver on time
