RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Tableau Server Admin & Reporting Analyst in Boca Raton, FL.


Summary:
We are seeking to add a Tableau Server Administrator and Analyst to our growing data analytics team. The primary responsibility of the Tableau Server Administrator and Analyst is to monitor, maintain, secure, and improve processes on an existing Tableau server environment. The secondary responsibility of the Tableau Server Administrator and Analyst is to design and maintain performance reporting templates for operations and client services. The Tableau Server Administrator will collaborate with a small team of data professionals in support of business needs related to data management, analytical reporting, and the automation of various reporting processes and distributions. This is a full time, remote working position.

Job Description:
* Provide technical oversight of Tableau Server infrastructure from user setup to performance tuning in a high availability environment
* Configuration, patching, and upgrading of the Tableau server and workbooks
* Automate monitoring and server processes using tabadmin, TSM, PowerShell, Windows Scheduler
* Work in collaboration with the CIO to develop security configuration settings including user/group setup, permissions and security roles
* Provide functionality training and support to end users
* Implement and support network load tracking system using Tableau Server dashboard
* Manage Tableau migration and scheduling, backups, and restoration of Tableau repository
* Troubleshoot and triage incident management on all server issues
* Create and maintain documentation related to server processes and performance
* Regularly perform an analysis of the server performance and make best practice recommendations
* Participate in the design and maintenance of operational and client facing reporting
* Understand workflows, processes and business drivers in order to provide meaningful support and analysis

REQUIREMENTS:
* Master's degree or equivalent work experience in IT/CS/BI/MIS
* 3+ years of professional industry experience with Tableau
* Tableau Server Associate or Professional certification is preferred
* Experience with PowerShell and Windows Scheduler
* Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
* Analytical thinking with high attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in SQL programming is a plus
* Industry knowledge of healthcare EDI files and ASC X12 transaction data is a plus
