Job Title: TCP IP Engineer

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with Solutions Sales Engineers, Pharma Application Engineers, and Project Managers, as well as customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications

• Review, analyze designs, modify, develop, test, and document, software applications within the scheduled timeframe

• Participate and contribute to weekly software development review meetings

• Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with applications systems. Detect, diagnose, and report related problems

• Provide the project team with support and guidance on project specific processes, procedures, tools, training, and techniques

• Review of the product architecture, design, requirements specifications, and test specifications

Determine and provide estimates for development tasks

• Resolution of technical issues in conjunction with team members

Must Have Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in application development, ideally C++, C#, .NET

• General knowledge of networking

• Excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team

• Knowledge of object orientated programming techniques

• Experience with Git or similar source control technologies

• Hands on experience working with networked devices

Nice to have skills

• Experience with XAML

• Working knowledge of SQL Server or other relational databases

• Prior experience with PLC programming

• Basic understanding of product tracking sensors such as photoeyes and encoders
