Test Analyst (Salesforce experience) – remote – £30000/annum

　

Harvey Nash are working in partnership with Fleetcor, as they embark on a restructure and augmentation of their IT & Technology workforce. Fleetcor, is a Global Leader in Commercial Payments, their specialized payment solutions help businesses control, simplify, and secure payment for fuel, general payables, toll and lodging expenses. Transformation and Stabilization are their key drivers and they’re looking for their Technology Team to drive innovation and improve delivery through a continued move towards Agile working.

Drawing from a strong foundation in testing Salesforce application using ProVar, your focus will be on working within a cross-functional team, focusing on developing reusable code to perform tests against multiple platforms such as web, API and database and to lead the testing process.

The client office is in Walsall and the successful candidate can choose to either work there or remotely, or a mixture of the two.

　

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Developing a high understanding of any software under test

• Planning test approaches & designing test cases

• Identifying, documenting and owning test issues / bugs

• Querying the databases to identify test data or isolate the cause of issues

• Reporting to the Test Manager

• Leading the test team through the test process

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Have excellent communication skills to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas to all different types of people in the software development lifecycle

• Experience/Exposure to ProVar Salesforce testing tool

• Experience in one or more of C#, VB .NET, Java, , or similar programming languages

• You’re proactive in your own development and have a drive to use the latest technologies.

• You’ll most likely have a degree in a computer science, engineering discipline; or equivalent

• Knowledge of the Software development lifecycle

• Have the curiosity to think of a range of approaches that could be used to break the software

• Passion for collaboration and enthusiasm for building good team dynamics

Beneficial:

• Knowledge of databases and database querying, especially SQL

• An understanding of working with AGILE + DevOps.

• Experience in testing methods, preferably ISTQB found certified or equivalent.

• Experience in Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD).
