.Role: Voice Engineer
Location: Longmont, CO (prefer local / Remote) - Should relocate if non-local after COVID
Duration: One+ (1+) Year with potential extensions
Work Authorizations: Open to All, however, must have Work Permit to work for minimum 1 year
Sonus, Metaswitch, SBC and Cisco are required (all 4). Getting only Cisco folks will not work as this is a non-Cisco environment.
Responsibilities to include Requirements:
- Experience with Cisco, Sonus, Metaswitch, and SBC required.
- Experience in supporting Oracle Session Border controller.
- Perform mid to advanced level Cisco UC administration, implementation and troubleshooting of CUCM, CUC, Meeting Place, UCCX, CUPS, CUBE, CER, CVP, Jabber, Gateways MGCP, H323, SIP, CTI integration. to switching platforms, dialers, call recorders and desk top platforms, and supporting infrastructure.
- Provide Planning, Design and Implementation throughout the install Lifecycle, including application and hardware upgrades, and solution optimization.
- Review and design system configurations and voice requirements for NICE Recording system for Call Manager and IPC deployments
- Work closely with the selected Voice Recording vendor, (NICE/Cybertech) to review system specifications and the associated contracts.
- Provide and maintain architectural documentation of telecommunications infrastructure and creating handover documentation to Service Operations.
- Troubleshoot network/VOIP problems, referring to vendors or technicians as appropriate.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining all aspects of the VOIP network infrastructure (i.e. Cabling- Racking/LAN/WAN/WLAN/VoIP/VPN/Network Security)
- Participate in multi-discipline design teams to provide solutions and capacity planning of equipment and VOIP network.
- Provide Tier 3 Team escalation and interface w/Vendors to resolve all issues as needed.
- Implement tactical plans to meet tight timelines and to ensure minimal disruption to the Customer environment providing World Class Customer Service to internal and external customers
- Provide VoIP and network incident and problem management
- Assist with development of documentation for standards requirements within the department
- Provide accurate, clear, concise documentation and assistance to Service Operations
