POSITION OVERVIEW

GA is seeking a senior technology leader as VP of Salesforce application. The successful candidate will be the technology owner of the SFDC platform and application and will be responsible and accountable for the application strategy, implementation & execution, and partnering across various business teams (Sales, Marketing, Product teams, and Operations) to ensure SFDC implementation at GA meets the desired business objectives. In this role you must have extensive experience in implementation of SFDC in a complex business environment. Strong SFDC architecture, design, data quality management experience desired. This role will work with a cross-section of department functions at GA and consult with key business partners to determine the best Salesforce solutions for their needs, and will have end to end accountability for owning the architecture, development, integration, data sourcing, data quality and governance for the SFDC application.

Responsibilities

  • Define, own, and execute SFDC strategy at GA.
  • Responsible and accountable for all projects and initiatives that leverage Salesforce.com platform at GA. Work with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and engineer solutions that optimize on data and functionality with an architecture that ensures re-usability of modules and data within SFDC.
  • Develop new solutions on the Salesforce Cloud platform and leverage the platform by acquiring, developing, and/or integrating both off-the-shelf SFDC platform solutions and configuring new business solutions on the platform.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations business functions to deliver relevant application functionality with high quality data
  • Ensure underlying SFDC data objects and data model are of high quality, governed, and not overly customized
  • Partner with cross-functional business teams to gather and analyze business objectives, define business requirements, enable testing of new features, and delivering application enhancements.
  • Manage the process of evaluating, communicating, testing, resolving issues and deploying Salesforce platform upgrades/releases as needed.
  • Support Salesforce by maintaining a clean database, lead generation routing, operations processes, and identifying additional tools that may help for this purpose.
  • Influence business units to leverage SFDC capabilities for analytics and reporting
  • Gather reporting requirements and translate them into Salesforce reports and dashboards.
  • Experience developing innovative solutions using the most advanced Salesforce development techniques to help the bank get the most out of our investment in Salesforce

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of SFDC implementation experience in a large complex organization required with an overall industry experience of 15-20 years as a technology engineer/architect
  • Preferred Salesforce certifications: Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Advanced Developer, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer, Certified Marketing Cloud Consultant, Certified Service Cloud Consultant
  • Strong technical background in SFDC with a unique combination of being business-minded and highly analytical
  • Experience working with the SFDC platform (Apex Code, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce Pages, HTML, JavaScript, Web Service APIs)
  • Extensive experience with designing, modeling, and engineering the underlying SFDC data model to ensure data integrity and quality
  • Experience with the Lightning platform
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related discipline requires, Masters preferred
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills with a demonstrated ability to quickly analyze and resolve issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills required, including project management capability
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, lead and influence cross-functional teams.
