About the role:
In this role, you will be responsible for defining and owning the functioning of the software engineer product line and initiatives towards the same to drive the growth of that business. You will own these from planning and analysis to execution, including account management. The role will have broad exposure across functions and critical initiatives. The role requires excellent communication, creativity, analytical skills, organisation, coordination, and leadership. As this is a multi-faceted role, we are seeking a highly versatile and well-rounded leader who can create and drive strategy as well as roll up their sleeves to clear obstacles to build pieces of the business themselves. A track record of ownership and impact is required from any candidate as well as someone who has led software engineering projects on a bigger scale. You will report directly to the VP of Operations.

What you will do:
- Define and own assessments and processes on pool boarding and deployment of software engineers having exposure on Go, Python, Java, C/C#.
- Structure solutions to complex business problems across multiple functional areas - especially areas that are foundational in nature like Hiring and building a team.
- Setting up the right assessment and interview scoring mechanism for identifying the top 3.5% of top software engineers from India.
- Interviewing, optimising interview panels, scoring cards as well as building a great pool of Software engineers.
- Analysing data to match makes the right talent for any client need for hiring and deploying the right talent, giving preferences to both.
- Managing and leading a team of Talent Success Coach and SME who manages the huge pool of Software engineers on contract.
- Driving strategies to engage and direct talent for deploying them to client needs with right expectations.
- Gathering data and learning from data to optimize the entire business process.
- Gather and analyse large amounts of information and rapidly solve.
- Build consensus among multiple teams and influence decision making with leadership.
- Align and coordinate resources across teams.
- Work closely with people across numerous roles and operationalise recommendations and decisions
Skills Required
- Management consulting experience (at least 3 years).
- Analytical work in strategy and business operations (at least 5 years).
- Experience leading online businesses and growth strategy for any software development companies or any SaaS business.
- Major years of experience on leading a team of software engineers worked on technologies like Go, Python, Java, C/C# (at least two of the above is mandate)
- Experience leading and managing teams, including cross-functional teams with both direct and dotted-line reporting relationships.
- Knowledge of the key drivers of SaaS growth for an online business.
- Experience in the B2B technology space with an understanding of the Internet ecosystem and technical audiences.
- Highly analytical and data driven - able to personally dive deep into data to understand trends, variances, opportunities and threats.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver simple and actionable analysis.
- Ability to effectively influence both internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
- Experience engaging with Product teams to help define product, pricing, packaging, and measurement requirements for online users.
