React Technical Lead

Skills

1.    5+ years of experience in frontend and 3+ years of ReactJS experience contributing, preferably architecting web-applications, & optimizing them for scale and performance.

2.    Expert level knowledge of ReactJS ecosystem and ES6

3.    Ability to design and architect Enterprise Javascript applications using ReactJS

4.    Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance

5.    Good experience and understanding of state management libraries like Redux or Mobx

6.    Good communication and leadership skills
 
7.    Experience with building & scaling interactive ReactJS applications involving complex UI

8.    Experience writing unit tests using JavaScript testing frameworks

9.    Profcient understanding of build tools and code versioning tools, such as Git/SVN

10.    Ability to review specifcations documents and provide technical inputs for implementing business solutions

11.    Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

12.    Experience with Angular platform would be a plus

13.    Experience in building backend using Javascript technologies would be a plus

Responsibilities

1.    Responsible for architecting and defning the frontend framework to solve complex designs and interactions

2.    Mentor a team of React developers, and manage them to meet project timelines

3.    Own all frontend related work

4.    Participate in scoping and planning work

5.    Be a thought leader in the Front-end technologies and space

6.    Lead recruiting of new frontend employees, if any

7.    Works with product team to understand project requirements

8.    Build reusable code and libraries for future use

9.    Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

10.    Keep system up to date with technical documentation – Designing architecture, fow diagrams, documenting technical implementation approaches and pseudocode

11.    Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX design

12.    Set and evolve standards and best practices for application development team – Conduct code reviews and enforce standards
 
13.    Oversee development process compliance and CI activities
