Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL processes using Snowflake, Python, and AWS technologies to ensure efficient data flow and accessibility.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable and reliable solutions.
3. Optimize and tune existing ETL processes for improved performance, scalability, and maintainability.
4. Implement data quality and validation checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data.
5. Work closely with data architects to design and implement data models that support business requirements.
6. Develop and maintain documentation for ETL processes, data flows, and data models.
7. Collaborate with cloud engineers to optimize AWS resources and enhance data storage capabilities on S3.
8. Utilize AWS Glue for data cataloging, ETL job orchestration, and metadata management.
9. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and technology.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. 5-8 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with a focus on ETL processes.
3. Proficiency in Snowflake and Python for designing and implementing data solutions.
4. Strong expertise in AWS services, particularly S3 and Glue.
5. Experience with optimizing and tuning ETL processes for performance and scalability.
6. Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. AWS Certification in Data Analytics or related field.
2. Experience with other cloud platforms, such as Azure or Google Cloud.
3. Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
